Memorable Golden Triangle tour with Varanasi

This blog relates to my memorable trip of Varanasi including golden triangle tour of India. I
choose a perfect travel plan with Hemkund Travels round about festival of dev Deepawali
on 12 th November this year. This is my true experience of amazing trip. At first we were in
dilemma to choose for the best options to explore in India but at last we choose Varanasi as it is
connected with my childhood. We came to India with our kids after a long time of 5 years and
observed many changes everywhere. Hailing from Railway station to city lights and
arrangements everything, I found positive changes and technology driven.

My journey started from New Delhi Airport, we drove to our hotel where we taken some rest
and then visited to old streets of purani Delhi where we had famous naan and paneer dish at
Kake di Hatti restaurant, after that we did lot of shopping of dry fruits, Saffron and idols of
budhha. Then we moved towards Chandni chowk area and enjoyed light and music show of Red
fort in the evening. Next morning we catched “Vande Bharat” train for Varansi because
travelling in train in India s a different fun. We arrived Varansi by late afternoon and check in
our hotel. Our travel partner had booked a car hire India for next two days to roam anywhere in
Varanasi. After freshen-up at first we go for street food strolling like Gol gappe, tikki chat and
many other mouth watering items. Then we proceed for Ganga Aarti at Assi Ghat, we had
booked our part in veneration online. The magnificent darshan of this evening overwhelmed us.
All stairs and water of river are decorated with numerous diyas. From decoration of ghats to

presentation everything was just unique and eye catching. From Shloka chanting to veneration
in one lyrics and accordance mesmerized us for next 1 hour. We are sharing pics of those
experiences.

We get back to our hotel after dinner at theme restaurant. Next morning we wake up early and
visit Vishwanath temple for sugam darshan of Lord Shiva followed by boat ride at all ghats on
bank of river Ganga. The purity and serenity of air influenced us to come again & again there.
After having breakfast of yummy kachori sabji and lassi in bhojanalya, we proceed for other
temples and sightseeing. We had secured our slot for Sarnath visit in the late afternoon.
Sarnath is a nice place for budhhist pilgrims and kids, where they can enjoy in museum and zoo
as well.

Next morning we caught a flight for Jaipur, pink City that is our second destination in Golden
triangle tour 5 days. We go for city tour including Amber fort, elephant ride, Jal mahal, Birla
mandir, City Palace and came back to shopping area of Rangila Jaipur. We had taken pendants
of jemstones and light weight blankets along with rajasthani attires with clolorful bangles for
my daughter that she loves the most. From here we travelled with tempo traveller on rent in
Delhi. Early morning we departed for Agra, place of Taj and viewed stunning Taj and other

heritage spots. By late evening we came back to Delhi enroute visiting Mathura, my kids were
too surprised with stories of lord Krishna and his mischievous play. We stay at Delhi hotel and
took complete rest after having dinner. After concluding same day agra we get ready for Delhi
tour next morning. From heritage walk to malls everything we did as our kids want. Their
favorable places on the list are national zoological park near by Pragati maidan and then we
moved for Akshardham temple for rest of the evening.

So, overall this was a lovely journey on my travel books. Next day we catched our flight for
getting back to home.
